FASHION TREND AND FORECASTING REPORT TRACKSUITS AND SNEAKERS TRACKSUIT AND SNEAKERS INTRODUCTION: One fashion trend that continues to show up everywhere is the combo of tracksuits and sneakers. The tracksuit and sneakers trend had begun during the 1970s. It was initially worn by athletes and sports brands like Adidas and Puma. As time passed by, it had gained major cultural momentum during the 1980s through hip-hop, especially with groups like Run-D.M.C, who had helped turn sneakers and tracksuits into streetwear staples. By the 1990s, the trend had become mainstream and was now an everyday fashion. Next in Fashion — Netflix Series Review Introduction & Plot Summary I had recently watched Next in Fashion, which is a Netflix competition series that was hosted by Tan France and Gigi Hadid. This show brings fashion designers from different backgrounds and fashion styles that’s unique to them, to compete for a cash prize and the chance to take their brand to the next level. In each episode  new challenges are thrown at them with a different theme, forcing them to get creative under pressure — whether they’re making red carpet looks, streetwear, or something completely outside of their comfort zones or creating something new that they haven’t done before. In this post, I would like to share the things that had stood out to me about the show, especially how fashion plays such a huge role beyond just clothes.
